Baldness, also known as alopecia, is a common hair condition where the scalp loses hair either partially or completely. While men are most often affected, more and more women are also experiencing this issue in recent years.
The primary causes of baldness include blocked hair follicles, which may result from hormonal imbalances, genetics, aging, scalp infections, stress, poor nutrition, certain medications, rapid weight loss, thyroid disorders, and even improper hair care habits.
Some common signs and symptoms include thinning hair, circular bald patches, sudden hair shedding, receding hairlines, hair loss during combing or washing, and reduced blood circulation to the scalp. In some cases, nail problems and high stress levels also contribute to the condition.
If ignored, hair loss can progress to permanent alopecia. And remember—stress and constant worrying can worsen hair fall even further.
Instead of rushing straight to medical treatments, you can start by trying simple, natural home remedies. These methods can help stimulate healthy hair growth, strengthen existing hair, and improve scalp health—without the risk of harsh side effects.
